Die Basis von Sepacore bilden die Trennsäulen. Ein breites Säulenprogramm bietet Anwendern maximale Flexibilität für jede Anwendung. Welche Säule im Einzelfall optimale Resultate liefert, hängt von der Art der Probe, der Probenmenge und der gewünschten Trennschärfe ab. Daher umfasst das BUCHI-Programm eine Reihe von Säulentypen, die sich in Form, Größe und Ausführung unterscheiden.
